| | General Update.....
Seems my prior effort to keep up with my blog failed miserably. Oh, well...time to try again.
In general life has been treating me well since I last updated this blog. My job entered a really busy cycle and I didn't have much time or energy to be everyone online I'm usually present. Things have slowed down to a more moderate pace, so I have a bit more time. On top of work, my wife and I were busy looking for a house. Most of my online time was then spent looking at MLS listings, FSBO listings, and researching schools and communities. Weekends were spend recovering from the week and actually visiting houses.
In April, we finally found a house we liked in a nice little village about 30 miles west of the People's Democratic Republic of Madison. Our offer was accepted and we closed on house twenty days ago. Most of April and May was spent going to work and then coming home and packing. Most of June has been spent unpacking. We are about 75% done.
The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. My wife has graciously allowed me to fulfill one of the supreme gamer's fantasies......having a game room. It will be a while before things are properly set up, but it is something I am looking forward to working on. |
